Hello, I’m Andiswa Myeko
ndiswa Myeko is a 33year old female who holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (Baccalaureus Legum) which she obtained at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University the year 2014. She is originally from Mthatha in Eastern Cape. During her time at the Nelson Mandela University, she was an active participant in student life and held various leadership positions. She was a Deputy Chairperson of the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter at Nelson Mandela University. She concurrently was enrolled for Practical Legal Training through Unisa Lead in 2012, which she obtained the same year and began her Articles in a small firm in Mthatha the year 2013. Her first exposure to different practical training in the areas of Law, being Divorce, Wills and Administration of Estates, Personal Injury Claims, Debt Collection and Criminal Law. With her drive and passion for success within her field, she soon moved to Port Elizabeth, again working for a small firm affording her the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skill into Unlawful Arrests and Detention, Malicious Prosecution, Labour Court and Evictions. Whilst in Port Elizabeth she seized the golden opportunity to work with a Medium-Sized Firm where she was admitted as an Attorney during 2016. Soon after her admission, she moved to Pretoria, where she was under the employment of Road Accident Fund as a High Value Claims litigation officer in the Litigation Department.
At all times she expressed a hunger for growth and leadership positions as she was nominated and served as a member in the ethics committee up until she resigned. Her resignation was led by fire to go back to the field and practice Law, she joined a Panel of Attorneys for the Road Accident fund, which then turned her into a specialist in Third Party Claims. Through her employment, she attended courses and holds certificates for Litigation Techniques, Basic Intensive Trial Advocacy Training, Advanced Trial Advocacy Training and Practice Management. Currently, she Practices as an Advocate with a Fidelity Fund certificate.
She has a passion for serving people through providing clients, public and stakeholders with the care that is tailored to their needs whilst maintaining a standard of service excellence in the profession.
Her continued fields of acquiring knowledge and skills set is in Labour Law and Administrative Law.
